Oak Forest: The Suburb of Tomorrow

Nestled in the heart of Houston’s dynamic landscape lies Oak Forest—a community that encapsulates both the charm of traditional suburbs and the promise of innovative future living. Inspired by the visionary planning of Frank Sharp in the 1940’s, more can be learned from ‘The Suburb of Tomorrow,’ Oak Forest is a neighborhood where thoughtful planning and flexible design converge to create an environment that feels both welcoming and forward-thinking. Patrick Swayze was in the class of 1971 at Waltrip High School.
